Eppies Ride for IronKiDz
Racing to benefit diabetic youth through project IronKiDz

The Epsilon Pi Alpha fraternity of Gustavus Adolphus College is riding in the Minnesota Ironman Bike Ride on April 27, 2008 to promote twelve children from across the country that will have their lives forever changed through Insulindependence’s IronKiDz program. Members of the fraternity will be competing in a 100-mile team relay. IronKiDz is a one-of-a-kind, specially designed Insulindependence Expedition of a lifetime!
With your support, twelve lucky kids (ages 9-12) will be selected to travel to the Midwest this September for a trip that will give them the guidance and confidence they need to live a full and happy life with diabetes. Under the guidance of certified wilderness guides and experienced diabetes mentors, Team Insulindependence's IronKiDz will embark on a 3-day river journey along the Namakogen River in Western Wisconsin. They'll work as a team to prove to themselves that they have what it takes to overcome diabetes in the face of adversity. Thanks for your support!
