Seven Summits of Insulindependence Membership

This program is about boundaries. During the past several years the athletes of Insulindependence have proven to themselves that physical boundaries have little or nothing to do with diabetes. By continuing to set higher standards in athletic achievement, this is the message we wish to deliver to diabetics and physicians across the globe. Unfortunately, because life does come with financial boundaries, our message might not reach its full maturity without your support.

In the spirit of Team Insulindependence’s goal to summit the seven highest continental peaks around the globe, we offer seven levels of annual membership benefits that accumulate with each increasing level.

Kosciuszko $35 (student $20) The summit of Australia holds a custom Insulindependence wristband and a subscription to our quarterly newsletter.
Vinson Massif $50 (student $35) At the top of Antarctica’s highest peak is the chance to show your support with an Insulindependence team shirt.
Elbrus $100 The apex of Europe yields a view of an Insulindependence DVD featuring highlights of our life-changing adventure expeditions.
Kilimanjaro $200 Conquering Africa’s highest point brings you formal recognition in our newsletter and on Insulindependence.org.
Denali $500 The zenith of North America holds a personal letter of gratitude written to you from the Executive Board of Insulindependence.
Aconcagua $800 Reaching the highest peak in South America sets you apart as a personal sponsor for a future diabetic athlete or adventurer.
Everest $1500 or more For summiting the roof of the world and the pinnacle of support for our cause, Insulindependence will personally thank you on a custom DVD.

From newsletters to special events, from athlete training teams to adventure travel expeditions, your membership in Insulindependence provides opportunities to connect with the diabetic community, resources to learn about managing the effects of diabetes, and support to triumph over the perceived limitations of living with diabetes, not to mention enabling Insulindependence to expand the impact and scale of our mission. Memberships are available to fit all budgets, and we welcome and encourage creative sponsorship and contribution proposals from private parties and businesses. Please email us if you have any questions or comments about membership in Insulindependence. Or, you can download a Membership application here and mail it to us at:
